Specialty Screw Corporation of Rockford Illinois has completed its’ annual audit and has been recommended by Intertek for TS16949:2002 certification and ISO9001:2000 recertification.

ISO/TS 16949 is a Technical Specification not an ISO standard. The International Automotive Task Force (IATF), which consists of an international group of vehicle manufacturers, wrote ISO/TS 16949 in conjunction with the International Organization for Standards (ISO). This specification aligns existing American (QS-9000), German (VDA6.1), French (EAQF) and Italian (AVSQ) automotive quality systems standards within the global automotive industry.

During the week of March 11th, 2013 sSc Specialty Screw Corporation a manufacturer of special cold head fasteners, collar studs, special rivets, ball studs, and engineered fasteners was audited by Intertek and based on the results has been recommended for the TS16949:2002 certification and ISO9001:2000 recertification.
