Cost Estimator – 1st Shift – Provide cost estimating and process routing for new products. Perform cost updating on current product. Obtain quotes from outside processing, and update quotations based on Engineering Change Notifications. Maintain automotive standards. Maintain and keep current the computer data base files, which include material, heat treat, plating, customers, sales representatives, and machine centers. Individual must be able to sit for long durations. High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Quality Technician- 1st Shift – Measure, evaluate and report on conformance to prints and or specifications or Engineering standards. Determine preliminary acceptance to these standards. Perform job function as applicable to Q.C. manual standards, prints, specifications and know how to report verbally or to present documented results of acceptance or rejection criteria(s). Must have the ability to develop a strong mental knowledge of customer base. This job requires the individual to be able to deal with people in critical situations while maintaining tact and composure. The job requires continual contact with other employees within the units of the company, occasional contact with the general public, community or trade and professional associations. Work in Indysoft & Infinity programs. Knowledge and maintenance of all types of gauging equipment. High School Diploma or GED is required for this position.
Sorting Lead Person – 1st Shift – Lead the sorting department in sorting for foreign material, missed operations, and any non-conformities that do not exceed customer expectations. Maintain company quality standards, and assist in problem solving efforts. Assist is setting work hours and assignments. Train new employees. Verify all electronics are operating properly; assure that preventative maintenance is done as specified. Uphold production schedules as directed. Individual will be exposed to normal machine shop environment. Must be able to sit, bend, walk, stoop, climb and stand. Lifting of 30 – 40 pounds may be required. High school diploma or GED is required. 2 to 5 years of previous, similar or related work experience is desired, as well as management / supervisory experience.
Header Setup / Operator – 2nd Shift – Opening for experienced multi-die header operators. Proven talent with 56 or 89 Nationals will be given preference for consideration. Read blueprints or job orders to determine product specifications and tooling instructions. Inspect parts for defects, and measure parts to determine accuracy of machine operation using micrometers, gages or other measuring instruments. Observe machine operation to detect part defects or machine malfunctions, adjusting machine as necessary. Performing job, individual must be able to bend, walk, stoop, and stand. Frequent lifting may be required, 50-75 pounds. The individual will be exposed to normal machine shop environment. High School diploma or GED equivalent required. 3-5 years of similar or related work experience desired.
